What our name means
KERTASSCI SDN. BHD. is a Malaysian company whose name reflects Knowledge Engineering for Research, Technology, and Academic Sustainability (KERTAS). We work to make research knowledge easier to publish, discuss, access, and use.
Through our journals, conferences, and shared resources, we support researchers and academic communities across disciplines and geographic boundaries. These three services connect the stages of research: sharing completed work, exchanging ideas with others, and finding materials that can support new studies.
In Malay, kertas also means paper — a fitting reminder of where scholarly work has always been recorded, shared and built upon.

Journals
KertasSci publishes ten journals spanning different disciplines. Each journal offers a dedicated space for researchers to present work relevant to its field, while the collection creates opportunities for ideas to reach readers across subject areas. Our journals reflect the breadth of contemporary research and the value of making scholarly work available to the communities that can learn from it and build upon it.
Conferences
We manage conferences around the world, supporting opportunities for researchers, academics, and professionals to meet and exchange knowledge. Conferences give participants a setting to present findings, discuss emerging questions, receive feedback, and form connections beyond their own institutions. By bringing people together across locations and disciplines, our conference activities help research conversations continue beyond publication.
Resources
Research depends on access to useful materials as well as opportunities to share results. KertasSci stores and shares resources such as datasets and images to support the research community. These materials can help researchers explore questions, develop methods, and communicate their work. Our resources service is intended to make relevant materials easier to discover and use, while encouraging the continued exchange of knowledge among researchers.
