Privacy Policy

Who we are

KertasSci (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates kertassci.com, covering our research journals, shared resources and our software division, Smart Applications. Our office is at No. 7-1, Jln 1, Pusat Perniagaan Desa Kolej, 71800 Bandar Baru Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. What we collect

We only collect personal data you choose to give us, through two channels on this site:

Contact form — your name, email address, phone number, the service you’re enquiring about, your message, and an optional file attachment (jpg, png or pdf, up to 5MB).
Journal & manuscript submissions — the author, affiliation and manuscript details you provide when submitting to one of our journals.

We do not run visitor analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we don’t require an account to browse it.

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, route it to the right team (editorial, or Smart Applications), and, for manuscripts, to carry out editorial review. We don’t use your data for marketing you haven’t asked for.

Google reCAPTCHA

Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. When you use the form, reCAPTCHA may collect hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and send it to Google. This is governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which we encourage you to read.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent your personal data. It’s shared only with: Google, via reCAPTCHA as described above; our email delivery provider, solely to route your contact form submission to our inbox; and, for journal submissions, the relevant editorial board handling your manuscript.

How long we keep it

Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then deleted. Manuscript and submission records are kept in line with standard academic archiving practice for published and reviewed work.

Your rights

Depending on where you’re located, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, email support@kertassci.com and we’ll respond as soon as we can.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our services change. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.
